Processing time
Orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Orders placed on weekends or UK bank holidays are processed the next business day.

Duties and import taxes
International orders may be charged import duties and taxes by your local customs authority on delivery. These are typically around 10% of the shipping cost and are payable by the customer — they apply even when your order qualifies for free shipping.
Tracking
You'll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships. All parcels are fully tracked door-to-door.
Returns
We accept returns on Regular Pieces and Large Pieces within 14 days of delivery, provided items are unused, in original condition, and in original packaging.
Cut-to-order fabric sold by the metre is final sale and cannot be returned, as it is cut specifically for your order.
Return shipping is the customer's responsibility unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
Damaged or lost parcels
If your parcel arrives damaged or doesn't arrive within the expected window, email us at info@alanaka.com within 7 days of the expected delivery date and we'll resolve it with the carrier.
